Project Gutenberg includes whatever texts were of special interest to the founders, or have been contributed by volunteers, so its collection is distinctly eclectic. Hymnody is under-represented, but that can be changed and is changing. Distributed Proofreaders and Distributed Proofreaders: Europe provide most e-texts to Project Gutenberg. Their work is also delineated by the nature of voluntary donations of scanned page images to proofread. But their open processes and tools make them ideal places to help creating e-texts (or find help creating e-texts). The Christian Classics Ethereal Library is among the organizations feeding scanned books to Distributed Proofreaders.
