Planned Song Services:

Simple Guide to Handout Layout

A browser is no substitute for a desktop publishing program; but Netscape Navigator does have sufficient flexibility to print these files in formats suitable for handouts.

Schedules

The schedules can be printed on the right half of a landscape-oriented 8.5" X 11" page. Pick the smallest margin that your printer will accept, and the largest font size that will fit on the half page. (Usually a 9 or 10 point font works.) Then paste up a master copy with copies of songs needed, as in the diagrams below.

If there is no song handout, you can print two copies of the master schedule per page, and cut the pages down the middle. If there is one song, place it on the right side the page and make two-sided copies, with the same master copied on both sides. When the page is cut down the middle, each half has a schedule on front and a song on the back.

If there are two or more songs, prepare a master copy for front and back. Again get two-sided copies; each sheet can be folded like a leaflet.

These must be printed separately, two for each reading. The readers may use a separate handout for songs.
